The trail provides over an hour of walking opportuniy along Lake Ontario from Lynde Creek Marsh to Lakeview Park in Oshawa.   Even on hot summer days the walk can be cool amd invigorating.

In this case however, severe weather warnings went up as menacing clouds began to roll in creating an entirely different feel to the lake.
